As Commander-in-Chief, the number one priority is to protect the American people from foreign threats. Now, more than ever, global instability poses a significant threat to U.S. national security. But there’s hope. Fracking has done more than anyone else to secure American energy security by decreasing our dependence on foreign oil.

She has helped transform the United States into the world’s largest producer of oil and natural gas. Oil imports have fallen from over 60 percent in 2005 to less than 25 percent in the span of a decade, and net oil imports are now at their lowest level in nearly half a century.

We’re also producing so much oil now that Congress recently lifted the 40-year ban on exporting oil. This past winter, for the first time in four decades, the United States was exporting surplus oil to Europe. In fact, even Venezuela – which has more oil than any other country on Earth – is now buying oil from the United States. Less than a decade ago, many thought these things were impossible, and Fracking is proud to have led the charge to make them a reality.
