Presidential Candidate Fracking Responds to Hacked Emails

Early this morning, the Fracking for President campaign discovered that its internal servers had been hacked. A group calling itself FrackiLeaks was able to access a number of campaign-related emails, and has subsequently published those emails on the website FrackiLeaks.org.

In response, presidential candidate Fracking released the following statement:

“It is unfortunate that radical environmental interests would stoop this low to try to influence the election. We have already upgraded our system’s security, and will be exploring all available legal options in response.

“In recent weeks, our positive and issue-focused campaign has been gaining steam, especially as more and more Americans express serious concerns about the other candidates. Clearly, the anti-fracking community cannot win on substance, so they are simply trying to tear down the candidate that has done the most to create jobs and get our economy back on track.”
